BMW’s Electrifying Driving Car : The BMWi Vision Dynamics.

An amalgamation of the BMW i3 and BMW i8, the BMWi Vision Dynamics showcases how it envisages the future of electric mobility. The dynamic and progressive four-door Gran Coupé has a range of 373 miles, a top speed of over 120mph and an acceleration of 0-62mph in a staggering four seconds.

A modern and technical impression.

The silhouette of the BMWi Vision Dynamics demonstrates an evolution in classic BMW proportions; a long wheelbase, flowing roofline and short overhangs exude elegance and dynamism. Its outline is fleshed out by large, contoured surfaces, the exterior appearing as if cut from a single mould.

Alluring and dynamic rear.

When viewed from the rear, the smooth curves guide the car’s horizontal profile, while the tapering of the passenger cell creates a muscular appearance.

Perhaps the most eye-catching features are the L-shaped rear lights; their slim-cut design accentuates its wide stance on the road and underscores the dynamic efficiency of the vehicle.

Redefining classic BMW features.

Combining the past and future of BMW through more than just design enhancements, the kidney grilles of the BMWi Vision Dynamics serve as a declaration of technological know-how. Underlying sensors transform the prominent, enclosed kidneys into an “Intelligence Surface“.

Similarly, the headlights represent both heritage and future through a modern interpretation of the classic BMW four-eyed front end. Two freestanding LED light elements on each side integrate all of the necessary lighting functions, yet enhance the striking look that is typical of BMW.

Looking ahead.

By 2025 BMW plans to offer 25 models with an electrified drive system – 12 of which will be pure-electric.

The BMWi Vision Dynamics encompasses everything that the BMW Group envisages for the future: Modernity, Progressiveness, Technical Eesthetics and Emotionally engaging electrified mobility.
