WhatsApp Will Soon Let You Re-download Deleted Images, Videos: Social Trends
WHATSAPP has quietly rolled out a new feature that lets Android users re-download media files they deleted, including photos, videos, GIFs, audio clips, and documents.
WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature that lets users re-download deleted media including photos and videos. At present, if a person deletes media including photos, GIFs, and videos from their phone they cannot re-download the same on WhatsApp again. WABetaInfo said that the deleted media files range from images, videos, GIFs and even voice messages. The report said that the feature has been added between the 2.18.106 and 2.18.110 updates in WhatsApp.
The report points out that earlier if the media files were not downloaded, they were made available for 30 days and then deleted from a server if the user did not download them. With the new feature, WhatsApp will now let users re-download these media files for a longer period, even if the user deleted them from their phone’s storage.(whatsapp images, whatsapp videos, whatsapp gifs, whatsapp, voice notes, social trends)

How to retrieve deleted media on WhatsApp
It’s important to note that the re-downloading option is only available for files from chats that have not been deleted.
If you binned the original conversation, then all its content will have vanished with it.
With that in mind, open WhatsApp to the Chats page and find the thread that contains the file you’e after.
Once you’ve tracked it down, just tap on it to save it to your phone.(whatsapp images, whatsapp videos, whatsapp gifs, whatsapp, voice notes, social trends)
