1. Hotel Abraj Kudai, Mecca:
Abraj Kudai is a hotel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia currently under construction. It was projected to open in 2017, but a financial hiccup in 2015 halted construction and pushed out its completion to 2019 or 2020.When completed, it will be the largest hotel in the world, consisting of a ring of 12 towers 45 storeys high, with 10,000 bedrooms, 70 restaurants, and five rooftop helipads. There will also be five floors for the sole use of the Saudi royal family.According to Arabian Business, 10 of the towers will provide four-staraccommodations, while the other two towers will be reserved for special clientele offering five-star amenities.
2. Jeddah Tower :
Jeddah Tower previously known as Kingdom Tower and Mile-High tower, is a skyscraper under construction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at a preliminary cost of SR 4.6 billion (US$1.23 billion). If completed in 2020 as planned, the Jeddah Tower will reach an unprecedented height, becoming the tallest building in the world as well asthe first structure to reach the one- kilometre -high mark.

6. Crossrail, London :
The Crossrail programme – Europe’s biggest infrastructure project, is now over 85 per cent complete. With just over a year to go until the new Elizabeth line railway opens in December 2018, the programme is running on time and on schedule to be delivered within its £14.8 budget.
All of the permanent Elizabeth line track has been installed throughout the central section. With the track fully laid, the £14.8 billion project has entered a new phase as construction trains are now able to travel the full length of both new tunnels from end to end. ( Wonders Of The World )
Over the course of the next year, the railway and new stations will continue to take shape as the tunnels are furnished with over 15,000km of cable which will deliver power, lighting and communications systems through the tunnels. Over 4km of full height platform edge screens will be fitted at stations. Since the construction of the new railway began in 2009, over 15,000 men and women have worked on the project and over 100 million working hours have been completed. Over 600 apprentices have also been recruited on the Crossrail project.
